            Cultivation tips:
            • Soil preparation: slight preparation of the upper ground is sufficient
            • Time of sowing: all over the year when temperature is below 30° C
            • Sowing: with the drilling machine as close as possible in paired rows or broadcast sowing by hand and raking into the soil
            • Fertilization: facultative 5 kg nitrogen per 1000 m2
            • Seeding rate: 3 kg per 1000 m2
            • Weed control: not necessary because the strong growing of the radish suppresses the weeds
            • Sowing depth: 1 - 2 cm

             
            As soon as the plants start to flower, 45 - 55 days after emergence the crop should be chopped or cut down; thereafter the soil can be hoed and prepared for sowing.
